The artist Yavuz Bingöl, who has Alevi-Bektashi roots, visited the headquarters of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) to meet with its leader, Devlet Bahçeli, and expressed his gratitude for the world's largest Cem House Complex, which he built and donated in Hacı Bektaş. During the visit, Bingöl recited an Alevi poem and gifted his bağlama (a traditional Turkish stringed instrument) to Bahçeli.
Artist Yavuz Bingöl visited the Chairman of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), Devlet Bahçeli, at his office. Bingöl stated that the purpose of the visit was to thank Bahçeli for the world's largest Cem House Complex, which he built and donated in Hacı Bektaş.
Bingöl shared regarding his visit, "I visited the Chairman of the Nationalist Movement Party, Mr. Devlet Bahçeli, at his office. On October 11, he built and donated the world's largest Cem House Complex on his own land in Hacı Bektaş."
HE GIFTED A BAĞLAMA
As an artist of Alevi Bektaşi origin, I made this visit to thank him," he stated. During the visit, Yavuz Bingöl, who recited an Alevi poem he had prepared earlier, also gifted a bağlama to the party leader.
Bingöl concluded his post with the words, "It was a very nice conversation, he was very emotional. I thank him again; we are grateful as Alevi Bektaşis."
