In the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was alleged that German citizens K.P. and M.B. carried out transactions aimed at laundering large amounts of money of unknown origin through companies established at home and abroad. The investigation file included claims that an 80 million euro contract was drawn up, a 100 million euro transfer was made, and that a fund of 1 billion euros was promised to be transferred abroad by way of a loan using public power and influence. It was also stated that a boat sale worth 1.5 million euros was carried out.
3 SUSPECTS ARRESTED
Five suspects detained within the scope of the investigation were referred to the Istanbul Justice Palace after their procedures at the police department. Following their statements at the prosecutor's office, Cihan Tunç, Ümit İlker Avcı and Çağlar Sezgin, who were brought before the judge, were arrested.
HOUSE ARREST FOR SARIGÜL'S BODYGUARD
For Mustafa Sarıgül's close bodyguard Beşir Ömer Demir and Atakan Eren, it was decided to impose judicial control measures in the form of not leaving their residences. Here is the official statement text that Beşir Ömer Demir, who is alleged to have had inappropriate images with Sarıgül come to light, personally gave to the public prosecutor under the supervision and inspection of his own lawyer:
"After I met Mustafa Sarıgül, our communication continued. I started actively working in his team in 2015. After going to military service and returning in 2020, I got married. Mustafa Sarıgül was the wedding witness at my marriage.
The images of me with Mustafa Sarıgül were reflected in the press in 2024. Starting from 2021, Mustafa Sarıgül made numerous sexual advances against me. Due to my fear regarding all these sexual assault interventions and because I have a family I am obliged to support, I could not file a complaint.
Also, after the images came out in 2024, because I signed the document prepared by Mustafa Sarıgül's lawyers, which stated that if I spoke about Mustafa Sarıgül I would pay a penalty of 100,000 Euros, I could not speak.
For three years I was subjected to countless sexual assaults by Mustafa Sarıgül. Because my reputation was damaged and I considered suicide, 150,000 dollars was paid by his lawyer for my child's future. Because Mustafa Sarıgül is a member of parliament and a powerful politician in the YENİ Party, the reality of these events did not come to light.
During the physical interventions, Mustafa Sarıgül would sometimes touch my body and sometimes want to kiss my body.
There have been countless sexual assaults at his house in Istanbul, in Platin Residences, and at Angora Houses in Ankara. When my (HTS) records are examined regarding these events, it will come to light. Also, when the video reflected in the press is examined, my victimization will be revealed.
The sexual assaults Mustafa Sarıgül subjected me to did not happen with my own consent. Because I was afraid, I did not respond to the events from which I took no pleasure. In a way, relationships took place in which he took pleasure and I was the victim."
