Fluctuations in Brent crude oil prices and exchange rates, along with tax increases, continue to be reflected in fuel prices as discounts and hikes. Starting from Saturday, a 70 kuruş increase in LPG prices is expected, and with the price increase at the pump, LPG will be sold for 27.78 lira per liter in Istanbul and 27.57 lira in Ankara.

Starting from Saturday, a 70 kuruş increase in LPG (Autogas) is expected, with the price increase reflecting at the pump, resulting in a sale price of 27 lira 78 kuruş in Istanbul and 27 lira 57 kuruş in Ankara.
HOW ARE FUEL PRICES CALCULATED?
Fuel prices are calculated by refineries based on the average prices of refined products in the Mediterranean market, which includes Turkey, and changes in the dollar exchange rate. As a result of this calculation, the prices applied by distribution companies may show slight variations due to competition and freedom among companies and cities.
EPGIS HAD DECIDED NOT TO ANNOUNCE PRICE CHANGES
After the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK) filed a complaint against EPGIS, the only union that explains changes in prices, the union announced that it would not share fuel price changes with the public until the legal process is concluded.
