TFF President İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu listened to Galatasaray's criticisms of Yasin Kol but stated that the referee "did not make a mistake that affected the outcome." Galatasaray, on the other hand, requested that Yasin Kol not officiate in their matches again. It is reported that the TFF may decide to rest the referee and keep him away from Galatasaray matches.
After the Fenerbahçe–Galatasaray derby, the yellow-red management submitted a 10-minute video to the TFF regarding referee Yasin Kol's officiating. In the meeting attended by President Dursun Özbek and Abdullah Kavukcu, all controversial decisions were examined one by one.
HACIOSMANOĞLU: YOU ARE RIGHT ABOUT YELLOW CARDS, BUT…
According to a report by Sabah, TFF President İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu stated that he agreed with Galatasaray's grievances, especially regarding yellow cards. However, Hacıosmanoğlu's critical sentence was, "I don't think there was a mistake that would affect the outcome of the match." This opinion created dissatisfaction within the yellow-red management.
"YASIN KOL SHOULD NOT BE ASSIGNED TO OUR MATCHES"
In the meeting, Dursun Özbek and Abdullah Kavukcu conveyed that Yasin Kol should not be assigned to any of Galatasaray's matches anymore. It was stated that if this request is not accepted, the yellow-red management would not accept matches officiated by Kol. Additionally, the mistakes made by Kol in the Galatasaray matches he officiated before the Kadıköy derby were also reminded to Hacıosmanoğlu.
FIRST STEP FROM TFF: KOL WILL BE RESTED
According to information from the TFF side, it is being considered that Yasin Kol will not be assigned to Galatasaray matches for the remainder of the season. Furthermore, it is almost certain that the referee will be rested this week.
