THE SALARY INCREASE RATE FOR CIVIL SERVANTS AND RETIRED CIVIL SERVANTS HAS BEEN FINALIZED
A circular regarding the salary regulation affecting millions of civil servants and retired civil servants has been published. With the circular, the salary increase rate for civil servants and retired civil servants for the first half of 2026 has been confirmed as 18.60%. The published regulation also covers private sector employees, those who will serve in the military for a fee, and contracted personnel, in addition to civil servant and retired salaries.
EXPECTATION FOR A FLAT INCREASE HAS ENDED
In the circular, it was stated that with the finalization of the 18.60% increase, the expectation for a flat increase for civil servants and retired civil servants has officially come to an end.
COEFFICIENTS HAVE BEEN ANNOUNCED
The coefficients to be applied in accordance with Article 154 of the Civil Servants Law No. 657 have also been announced with the circular. Accordingly;

- Minimum monthly coefficient: 22.722793
- Additional payment coefficient: 0.440141
Additionally, within the scope of the circular, the minimum and maximum salaries for contracted personnel positions that have been approved according to the legislation have also been increased by 18.60%.
NEW TABLE FOR THE LOWEST SALARIES
With the increase, it is expected that the lowest retired civil servant salary will rise to 26,887 TL, and the lowest civil servant salary will rise to 59,896 TL. Furthermore, it has been reported that the 14-day wage difference for civil servants and retired civil servants will also be paid separately.
