Hamdi Kılıç, the chief advisor to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, has passed away. Kılıç was one of the influential figures in Turkish politics who remained behind the scenes. In the past, he had prepared the speeches for MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli and former Prime Minister Mesut Yılmaz.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's Chief Advisor Hamdi Kılıç has passed away. Kılıç's death was announced by Cemil Ertem, one of the presidential advisors, on his social media account.
In his post, Ertem stated, "We have lost our valuable colleague, Chief Advisor to the President Hamdi Kılıç. I am very sad. May God have mercy on him, and may his place be paradise. I wish patience to his family from God."

Kılıç, who has been described as one of the significant figures behind the scenes in Turkish politics, provided consultancy to many politicians for many years. Although he was not very visible to the public, Kılıç was well-known in political circles, specializing in the preparation of written political texts and speech content.

Kılıç had previously been the person who prepared the speeches for MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli and former Prime Minister Mesut Yılmaz.

Having served alongside President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan for a long time, Kılıç worked within the Presidential Office as a chief advisor and played an active role in preparing the texts that guided Erdoğan's critical statements.
KNOWN FOR HIS JOURNALIST IDENTITY
Hamdi Kılıç, who had a background in journalism, held managerial positions at Yeni Düşünce, Yeni Hafta, Gündüz, and Hergün newspapers. A graduate of Ankara University Faculty of Communication, Kılıç taught "Political Communication" courses at Gazi and Selçuk universities. Kılıç was married and a father of three.
