During an inspection by the municipal police teams in Hatay, disturbing images emerged from a döner shop that did not comply with hygiene regulations. The establishment, which the police teams described as having a "smell of decay," was sealed and closed down.
Kırıkhan Municipality's inspection teams continue their inspections aimed at protecting public health without interruption. In this context, during an inspection conducted at a döner shop operating in the district center, it was determined that hygiene rules were severely violated.
COOKED AND RAW CHICKENS IN THE SAME FRIDGE
During the inspection, it was found that cooked chicken products and raw chickens were stored together in the same fridge. The images that emerged caused a reaction from the teams, while it was learned that the business owner tried to defend the situation by saying, "I put it in the fridge in the evening, a maximum of 10 hours."
'IT SMELLS LIKE A CORPSE' REMARKS MARKED THE INSPECTION
Moments when the inspection teams used the expressions "I can't breathe, it smells like a corpse" highlighted the lack of hygiene in the establishment. The nauseating conditions were recorded by the teams with a camera.
PRODUCTS DESTROYED, BUSINESS CLOSED
As a result of the inspection, products deemed a threat to human health were destroyed, and the said establishment was closed by the Kırıkhan Municipality with a council decision. Municipal officials emphasized that inspections against businesses that jeopardize public health will continue resolutely.
