In Bayburt, where snowfall and storms were affecting the area, a shepherd became stranded with his flock. Upon receiving the notification, the Provincial Special Administration teams took action to open the blocked roads and safely brought the shepherd and his flock down from the Sarı Çiçek Plateau, where the snow depth reached 30 centimeters.
Due to the snowfall and storm affecting the high areas of Bayburt, a shepherd became stranded with his flock in the Sarı Çiçek Plateau of the Üzengili village, which is connected to the center. The shepherd, who had difficulty moving forward with his flock due to the sudden snowfall, was rescued by the teams dispatched by the Provincial Special Administration.
TEAMS RESPONDED TO THE REPORT
After learning that the shepherd was stranded in the plateau where the snow depth reached 30 centimeters in places, İrfan Karaaslan, one of the residents of Üzengili village, reported the situation to the Provincial Special Administration. The teams of the Provincial Special Administration, which immediately took action upon the report, reached the area despite the difficult weather conditions and began road clearing work. As a result of the meticulous work of the teams, the road that was closed due to the storm was opened to traffic, and the shepherd was safely brought down from the plateau along with his flock.

Karaaslan, who supported the teams by describing the route to them, stated, "We are currently at the Sarı Çiçek Plateau of Üzengili Village, which is at an altitude of 3,000 meters. A shepherd has become stranded in the plateau with his flock. A machine was requested from the teams of the Provincial Special Administration. The machine has now arrived and has started working. There is quite a lot of snow in the area," he said.
