Recently, temperatures have risen in many provinces, including Istanbul, and sunny weather has started to make its presence felt. However, the sunny weather may continue to have an effect until Sunday. Starting from next week, we will be under the influence of a cold and rainy system. According to the meteorological map, rain is expected in many provinces, including Istanbul, on Tuesday.
Temperatures across the country are rising even further starting today. Meteorology experts indicate that temperatures will exceed seasonal norms in the coming days. Meanwhile, desert dust has begun to affect Turkey. Due to the dust transport coming from North Africa, the sky will appear hazy and yellow in many cities.

In Istanbul, heavy rain is forecasted for the morning hours today, while temperatures are expected to peak in the coming days. In fact, thermometers will show 23 degrees on Sunday. According to the forecasts of İBB AKOM, it will be 24 degrees on Sunday.
SNOWY WEATHER IS RETURNING
On Monday, March 17, air temperatures will start to drop significantly. A new cold air wave entering from the Marmara region will affect the entire country. Meteorological Engineer Hüseyin Öztel made the following statements regarding the rainy weather:
"We have not yet overcome winter; it seems that we will have snowy weather from Tuesday to Friday next week. There will be snow in Anatolia and rain in the western coasts. Our ancestors did not allow us; we are innocent. Shovel and pickaxe."
WEATHER CONDITIONS ACROSS THE COUNTRY
According to the forecasts made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The western parts of the country and the eastern and southeastern Anatolia are expected to be partly, at times very cloudy, with light showers in the surroundings of Istanbul and Balıkesir, as well as the northern parts of Izmir, while other places are expected to be slightly cloudy and clear. Frost and freezing events are expected in the eastern regions during the morning and night hours, and haze and localized fog are anticipated across the country. There is a risk of avalanche in the high areas of the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea and the high and sloping slopes of Eastern Anatolia.

WIND: Generally, light winds from the south, occasionally moderate, are expected to blow strongly (40-60 km/h) in the western Marmara and the northern Aegean coasts.
