In Tekirdağ, a dispute arose between a father and his son for an unknown reason. After the argument, the son left the house but returned to the residence and opened fire on his father's apartment. The father then shot at his son from the balcony with a shotgun. The father, who killed his son, stated in his testimony, "I couldn't control my nerves. I am very sorry."
A chilling incident occurred in the Yunus Emre neighborhood of Yavuz Selim Street in the Kapaklı district of Tekirdağ. A dispute broke out between Necdet Şahin (55) and his son Hazat Şahin (22) for an undetermined reason.
BOTH PRESSED THE TRIGGER
After the argument, Hazat Şahin left the house. A while later, Hazat Şahin arrived in front of the house on a motorcycle and opened fire with a gun at the apartment where his father was sitting. Necdet Şahin also took his shotgun from the house and fired at Hazat Şahin from the balcony.
KILLED HIS SON WITH A GUN
Hazat Şahin, who was seriously injured by the pellets that hit his body, collapsed to the ground in a pool of blood. Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. After initial intervention, Şahin could not be saved despite the efforts of doctors at Çerkezköy State Hospital.
"I AM VERY SORRY"
Necdet Şahin, who was taken into custody by the police, was brought to the courthouse in Çerkezköy under heavy security measures after his procedures at the police station, wearing a bulletproof vest. It was learned that Şahin stated in his testimony that he had an argument with his son, saying, "After he left the house, he opened fire at our house. I lost control of my nerves and fired with the shotgun. I am very sorry."
