The statement of Y.S., who stabbed and killed his older brother Ali Sağlam after arguing with him at their father's house in Kırıkkale, has emerged. In his statement, Y.S. claimed that after the argument, his brother provoked him with his gaze and that he does not remember what he did at the moment of the stabbing. It was reported that he said, "I have no regrets."
A brutal incident occurred last night in an apartment located on 2052 Street in the Bahçelievler neighborhood of Kırıkkale. According to the information obtained, a dispute broke out between Y.S. (26) and his brother Ali Sağlam.
HE STABBED HIS BROTHER TO DEATH
As the fight escalated, Sağlam stabbed his brother in the chest and wrist. Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the address. Severely injured, Ali Sağlam was taken to the Faculty of Medicine Hospital by 112 Emergency Health teams, but despite all interventions, he could not be saved. The suspect, Sağlam, was detained at the scene by police teams.
HE SAID, "MY BROTHER PROVOKED ME"
In his statement taken as part of the investigation, the murder suspect Sağlam claimed that there had been verbal disputes between him and his brother for a long time, and on the day of the incident, he was provoked by his brother. The suspect, who stated that he lived with his mother, father, and brother in the house, said that as the argument escalated, he headed to his room, and his brother attempted to throw a glass at him from behind but was stopped by their mother.
"I DON'T REMEMBER WHAT I DID AT THAT MOMENT"
Sağlam, who claimed that his brother provoked him with his looks when he returned to the room about 10 minutes later, said, "I took out the knife I had and stabbed Ali once in the stomach, and when he fell to the ground, I stabbed him again. I don't remember what I did at that moment."
"I'M NOT SORRY"
After the incident, the suspect stated that he fled the house and hid for a short time, and when he saw the police, he surrendered. Sağlam, who said that the knife belonged to him, also expressed in his statement that he did not feel remorse. The suspect was referred to the courthouse after his procedures at the police station.
HIS FUNERAL WAS HELD
The funeral of Ali Sağlam was buried after the funeral prayer held at Bahçelievler Central Mosque following the noon prayer. It was learned that the deceased security officer Sağlam worked at the Ankara Hasanoğlan SGK District Directorate.
