The Istanbul Governorship announced that, as part of the May 1st measures, some metro, funicular, and Marmaray stations will be closed to services tomorrow. It was also stated that there will be no passenger and vehicle transportation on the sea routes in both directions.

The Istanbul Governorship announced the measures taken due to May 1st. The governorship stated that some metro, metrobüs, funicular, and Marmaray lines will not operate in the megacity tomorrow.

SOME METRO STATIONS WILL BE CLOSED TOMORROW IN ISTANBUL

Accordingly, 7 stations of the Yenikapı-Hacıosman metro (Vezneciler, Haliç, Taksim Square, Şişhane, Osmanbey, Mecidiyeköy, Gayrettepe Zincirlikuyu metro - including all entry and exit points) will be closed. Additionally, Çağlayan, Mecidiyeköy, and Zincirlikuyu metrobüs stops will be closed to service in both directions. On May 1st, the Gayrettepe Station of the Gayrettepe-Istanbul Airport metro line will also be closed.

MARMARAY SİRKECİ STATION WILL NOT OPERATE EITHER

The Tünel Square-Karaköy funicular line will not operate. As part of the measures, the nostalgic tram services on İstiklal Street will be suspended. As part of the precautions, Marmaray Sirkeci station will also be closed to services in both directions. On May 1st, there will be no passenger and vehicle transportation in both directions on the sea lines.
