The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) announced that former national football player Hakan Balta, who recently left the Galatasaray U19 team, has been appointed as the assistant coach of the A National Football Team, filling the position left vacant by Selçuk Şahin.

MONTELLA'S NEW ASSISTANT
In a statement made by the Turkish Football Federation, it was announced that after Selçuk Şahin left his position in the national team, former national player Hakan Balta has been appointed as the assistant coach.
COACHED GALATASARAY
The 42-year-old coach, who was born in Germany and started his football career in that country, played for Manisaspor from 2003 to 2007 and for Galatasaray from 2007 to 2018. Hakan Balta had most recently taken on the role of head coach for the Galatasaray Under-19 Team.
