The TFF Arbitration Board rejected Fenerbahçe's appeal against the 4-match bans imposed on assistant coach Salvatore Foti and goalkeeper coach Sandro Zufic due to incidents that occurred during the Galatasaray derby. The board upheld the penalties for both individuals.

PENALTIES CONFIRMED



The committee upheld the 4-match bans received by both individuals due to the incidents that occurred during the Galatasaray derby. Foti and Zufic will not be on the bench for Fenerbahçe's matches against Trabzonspor, Sivasspor, Kayserispor, and Gaziantep FK.

STATEMENT FROM THE TFF APPEALS COMMITTEE



The statement made by the Appeals Committee regarding the matter is as follows;



"The appeal of Fenerbahçe Football Inc.'s Coaches Salvatore Foti and Sandro Zufic regarding the decision of the PFDK dated 05.04.2025 and numbered E.2024-2025/992 – K.2024-2025/1227 was examined. As a result of the discussions;



- It was understood that there was no error in terms of evidence, legal qualification, and determination of the penalty in the decision to punish Fenerbahçe Football Inc.'s Coach Salvatore Foti with a ban from the locker room and bench for 4 official matches and a fine of 117,000.00 TL due to his insult towards an opposing team player, thus the application was rejected and the decision was upheld, unanimously,



- It was understood that there was no error in terms of evidence, legal qualification, and determination of the penalty in the decision to punish Fenerbahçe Football Inc.'s Coach Sandro Zufic with a ban from the locker room and bench for 4 official matches and a fine of 78,000.00 TL due to his physical intervention against the match referee, thus the application was rejected and the decision was upheld, by majority,



A decision has been made."
