In Bursa, a driver who was under the influence of alcohol and did not have a driver's license refused to blow into the breathalyzer in order to avoid a criminal record. The driver, who said, "You are making a mistake, I expressed my feelings to you in a humane way," was fined 26,557 TL for refusing to blow into the breathalyzer and 18,678 TL for driving without a license.
The driver of the vehicle stopped by the Traffic Bureau teams of the Bursa İnegöl District Police Department caused difficult moments for the teams. A fine of 45,235 TL was imposed on the unlicensed driver who refused to blow into the breathalyzer.
The Traffic Bureau teams of the İnegöl Police Department conducted an operation targeting drivers on Mahmutesatbey Street in the Kemalpaşa neighborhood. The teams stopped the driver of the vehicle with the license plate 16 BGN 845, which they found suspicious. The teams wanted to conduct a breathalyzer test on the driver, Sertaç K. (45). Despite the teams' intense insistence, the driver refused the alcohol test.
"YOU ARE DOING IT WRONG"
The driver Sertaç K, who persistently refused the breathalyzer test, said, "I will not blow. You are doing it wrong. I expressed my feelings to you in a humane way. I am trying to be a clean person as much as I can. I am not a bad person. But if you write a fine, you will ruin my record. I have 17 days left, I am signing. I will not blow. The owner of the car will come and take it from here. I don't have a driver's license anyway," he said.
