In the General Assembly of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, DEM Party Kocaeli Deputy Ömer Faruk Gergerlioğlu, whose voice was cut off while speaking in Kurdish, reacted to Deputy Speaker Bekir Bozdağ. Gergerlioğlu said, "I am a Turk, I spoke in Kurdish, and Mr. Bekir Bozdağ, who is a Kurd, cut off my voice! This is the state of the AK Party."

DEM Party Kocaeli Deputy Ömer Faruk Gergerlioğlu reacted to the appointment of trustees in the General Assembly of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM).

Speaking about the grievances experienced in visa processes, Gergerlioğlu said, "Why are a record number of people trying to go abroad? Why are a record number of countries not accepting citizens of the Republic of Turkey? This is the reason. We want democracy, not trustees."

HIS VOICE WAS CUT OFF WHEN HE SPOKE KURDISH

Gergerlioğlu's voice was cut off when he said, "People say jin, jiyan, azadi..." The Deputy Speaker of the Assembly, Bekir Bozdağ from the AK Party, also invited Gergerlioğlu to comply with the internal regulations.

"I SPOKE KURDISH, A KURD BOZDAĞ CUT OFF MY VOICE"

After his voice was restored, Gergerlioğlu stated, "Friends, the history of the Assembly has seen this too. I am a Turk, I spoke Kurdish, and Mr. Bekir Bozdağ, who is a Kurd, cut off my voice! This is the state of the AK Party, friends!"
