In the Etimesgut district of Ankara, relatives of a woman named G.İ., who is in prison, found the lifeless body of a 2-month-old baby boy in the refrigerator while cleaning her house. An investigation has been launched regarding the incident.
"Manufacturing and trafficking of drugs or stimulants" led to the arrest and imprisonment of a woman named G.İ. Relatives who came to her residence in the Eryaman Şeyh Şamil neighborhood of Etimesgut, Ankara, in the evening hours wanted to clean and organize the house.
A 2-MONTH-OLD BABY CORPSE WAS FOUND IN THE FREEZER
During the cleaning, G.İ.'s 11-year-old son opened the freezer compartment of the refrigerator and encountered the corpse of a male baby, estimated to be about 2 months old.
CAUSE OF DEATH WILL BE DETERMINED AT THE FORENSIC MEDICINE
Upon notification of the situation, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. The lifeless body of the baby was taken to the morgue of the Ankara Forensic Medicine Institution for the determination of the exact cause of death after the prosecutor's examination at the scene.
AN INVESTIGATION HAS BEEN INITIATED
It has not yet been determined whether the baby is G.İ.'s child, and an investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
