A Ukrainian woman experienced horror when she returned from the market in Antalya. Four armed and hooded suspects forcibly entered her home, tied her hands, and accessed her crypto account using facial recognition. The suspects transferred 18,000 euros belonging to the woman to another account and fled with 5,000 euros, 7,000 dollars, and 200 grams of gold found in the residence. The captured suspects were arrested.
A.H., a Ukrainian national residing in a site located in the Mahmutlar neighborhood of Alanya, Antalya, experienced horror when she returned home after shopping at the market. Four hooded suspects waiting in the site corridor entered the woman's home at gunpoint.
THEY TIED HER HANDS AND ENTERED HER ACCOUNT USING FACE RECOGNITION SYSTEM
The suspects who tied the woman's hands accessed A.H.'s cryptocurrency account using a face recognition system. The suspects transferred 18,000 euros from the account to another account. Additionally, the masked suspects fled the scene with 5,000 euros, 7,000 US dollars, and approximately 200 grams of gold found in the residence.
4 SUSPECTS WERE ALSO ARRESTED
As part of the ongoing investigations related to the incident, it was determined that the suspects were R.A. (38), A.S. (31), S.U. (27), and O.G. (34). Four of the identified suspects were caught during an operation organized by the Gendarmerie Detectives (JASAT) while they were trying to escape and were arrested by the court after being brought before it.

The gendarmerie shared footage of the individuals entering the house, the pursuit of the panel van they escaped in, and the operation conducted on the highway that led to their capture and detention.
