During the trial where Engin Polat was being tried for money laundering, the judge got angry when Polat mentioned his own company during his testimony. The judge warned Polat, saying "Don't advertise."

Detained Engin Polat, Sezgin Polat, Alper Kürşat Polat, and Ahmet Gün were present in the courtroom. Dilan Polat, Sıla Doğu, and Can Doğu, among other defendants who were not detained, also attended the trial. After the identification of the defendants, their defenses are being heard. Journalist Emrullah Erdinç, who provided details of the trial, said that Engin Polat came to court in a black suit and stated, "Engin said, 'I don't know how to defend myself since there is no evidence in the indictment. Erdinç conveyed Engin Polat's statement as follows: "A big organization is being mentioned. But despite allegedly being involved in illegal betting for 7 years, it is clear that I have no contact with these individuals and nothing came up in the money laundering report, and it is evident that my earnings are from the companies.
