The Azerbaijani flag waving in the State Flag Square in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, has entered the Guinness World Records due to its size. WEIGHS MORE THAN 500 KILOGRAMSThe large flag, which is 36 meters wide and 72 meters long, weighs more than 500 kilograms. The flag, which officially entered the Guinness World Records two days ago on November 6, was hoisted during a ceremony attended by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on Azerbaijan's Victory Day. The 162-meter flagpole in the State Flag Square in Baku was recognized by the Guinness World Records Organization in 2010 as the tallest flagpole in the world. Later, flagpoles in Tajikistan, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt (201.9 m) broke this record.
