The replica of Michael Schumacher's Ferrari will be sold for £200,000. According to experts, it is expected that this remote-controlled car will fetch over a quarter of a million pounds at auction and become the 'most expensive' remote-controlled car in the world. This vehicle is a one-third scale model of the Ferrari F2002 that Michael Schumacher used when he became the Formula 1 world champion in 2002, capable of reaching speeds of up to 80 km/h. The car will be auctioned off on Thursday at Whittlebury Park, Silverstone, with a guide price of £200,000, along with 60 other motorsport vehicles. This event will take place three days before the British Grand Prix. SCHUMACHER SIGNED THE CARSchumacher signed the rear spoiler of the remote-controlled car when he visited Atelier Mediatech in Switzerland where it was produced. David Convery, the head of sports memorabilia collection at Graham Budd Auctions, which is co-organizing the auction with The Race, described this car as a "work of mechanical genius." "This is a true work of art created by expert engineers over three years and 1,000 hours," he said. "The car's top speed is 80 km/h, so the next owner will need a large garden to test it. As the auction will take place just a few days before the British Grand Prix and right next to the pit area at Silverstone, we expect to receive significant bids from around the world." The auction will also feature race suits worn by F1 champions Schumacher, Max Verstappen, and Sebastian Vettel.
