A 40% mentally disabled young man has been missing for 34 days after going into shock when he encountered a burglar who broke into his home in Adana five years ago.

On April 11, an incident occurred in the Çamlıbel neighborhood of the Yüreğir district in Adana, where 31-year-old Ramazan Hakseven, who has a 40% mental disability, did not return after leaving home.

HE COULD NOT BE FOUND DESPITE ALL SEARCHES

The family initially searched the area on their own for their children, and later reported the situation to the police. Despite the searches conducted, Hakseven could not be found. The family of Ramazan Hakseven, who has not been heard from for 34 days, expressed their concern for his life and asked for help from anyone who might have seen him. It was stated that Ramazan Hakseven became mentally disabled after encountering a thief who broke into their home five years ago while he was studying at university.

Mother Gülizar Hakseven (68) stated that they have not heard from her son for 34 days and that they are very distressed. Hakseven noted that her son has a 40% mental disability, saying, "My son was studying economics in Tokat five years ago when a thief broke into our home while he was in Adana. When my son encountered the thief, he was shocked. As a result of the shock he experienced, he became 40% mentally disabled. He was continuing his life with medication," she said.

Expressing that they have been very distressed for 34 days, mother Hakseven said, "My son cannot live without medication. We have not heard from him at all.
