BE AWARE OF THESE TWO DAYS

Turkey will again be under the influence of scorching heat next week. The second wave of African and Basra heat is expected to reach the country on Monday and Tuesday. With the effect of this extreme heatwave, known as Eyyam-ı Bahur, both high temperatures and oppressive humidity are predicted to increase. The weather forecasting organization Hava Forum warned that especially during this period, liquid consumption should be increased and prolonged exposure to sunlight should be avoided. It was also noted that the effect of the föhn winds will continue, thus the perceived temperature will rise even further.
