The FIVB Snow Volleyball World Tour has started in Uludağ. A total prize of 10,000 dollars will be distributed in the tournament, where 19 teams from 6 countries are competing.
The 2026 FIVB Snow Volleyball World Tour stage has started in Bursa. The event, which is part of the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) calendar, is being held in collaboration with the Turkish Volleyball Federation, Osmangazi Municipality, and Uludağ Cable Car in front of the 2nd Hotels Region Bursa Cable Car Frog Rock Station.
19 TEAMS FROM 6 COUNTRIES WILL COMPETE FOR A $10,000 PRIZE
A total of 19 teams from 6 countries, with dozens of athletes, participated in the challenging tournament where a total prize of $10,000 will be distributed.
FINAL MATCHES ON SUNDAY
The final matches of the organization, which has created colorful scenes at the summit of Uludağ, will be held on Sunday, March 29. Oğuz Değirmenci, the beach and snow volleyball consultant of the Turkish Volleyball Federation and the director of the organization, stated in a statement that the tournament started with group matches.
Değirmenci noted that the final matches will be played on Sunday during the 3-day event and added:
"We are holding the FIVB Snow Volleyball World Tour stage organization in Uludağ. 19 teams from 6 countries are competing here. Each team consists of 4 members. There are teams from France, Ukraine, Poland, Hungary, Moldova, and Turkey here. The organization started today with group matches. It will continue tomorrow with group matches. Our organization will conclude on Sunday with the semi-final and final matches."
