The "Palestine Action" group, which organized a protest at the golf course in Scotland owned by U.S. President Donald Trump, painted a building in the area red after writing "Gaza is not for sale" on the grass area of the course.
THEY WROTE "GAZA" ON TRUMP'S GOLF COURSE
Protesters who wrote messages protesting Trump on the walls at the entrance of the course criticized the U.S. President's policies towards Gaza. Among the messages were phrases like "Free Palestine" and "Free Gaza." The group stated in a post on the social media platform X, "Trump acts as if Gaza is his property, but he should know that his own property is also accessible."
The statement included, "As long as the U.S. administration continues to provide arms to Israel and plans ethnic cleansing in Gaza, this situation will not go unnoticed. Palestine belongs to the Palestinians."
TRUMP'S PLANS REGARDING GAZA
On February 4, during a joint press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House, Trump stated that the U.S. would "take over" the Gaza Strip and "own" it. Stating that Gaza is now completely a destruction area, Trump argued that it would be much better for Palestinians in Gaza to go to new settlements to be built in neighboring countries, especially Egypt and Jordan. U.S. President Trump also mentioned that he wanted to "turn Gaza into the Riviera of the Middle East."
