The suspects who arrived at the coffee house on a motorcycle without a license plate opened fire, shouting, "Are you the informants?" A 43-year-old man, who was hit by the bullets while standing in front of the coffee house, died in the hospital where he was taken.

A brutal incident occurred last night around 21:00 at a coffeehouse located on 9030 Street in the Reis Neighborhood of the Karabağlar district in İzmir. Suspects arrived at the coffeehouse on a motorcycle without a license plate and opened fire at the establishment, shouting, "Are you the informants!"

MAN STANDING IN FRONT OF THE COFFEEHOUSE DIED

Nuh Çifci (43), who was standing in front of the coffeehouse, was injured by bullets from the gun and collapsed to the ground. While the attackers fled the scene on their motorcycle, police and medical teams were dispatched to the location after the situation was reported. While the police took security measures in the area, medical teams determined that Nuh Çifci was severely injured during their examination, and he was taken by ambulance to Atatürk Training and Research Hospital. Despite the interventions made here, Nuh Çifci could not be saved. After the prosecutor's examination, Çifci's body was taken to the İzmir Forensic Medicine Institute morgue.

3 SUSPECTS DETAINED

Following the incident, the Homicide Bureau of the Public Security Branch started working to capture the attackers. Based on the statements of eyewitnesses and the examination of security cameras, the identities of the suspects were determined. The suspects, identified as M.M.U. (40), M.U. (28), and A.A. (28), were caught while trying to escape in a vehicle on the Seferihisar-Gümüldür road. The three suspects who were detained were taken to the Homicide Bureau for questioning. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
