A truck traveling from Mardin to Şanlıurfa was seized with 1 ton and 700 kilograms of unsealed meat, valued at 1 million 360 thousand TL. The conditions were in violation of hygiene regulations, which was nauseating.
The teams of the Şanlıurfa Provincial Gendarmerie Command stopped a closed box truck at the Karakuzu Gendarmerie Station application point on the Şanlıurfa - Mardin highway.
MARKET VALUE 1 MILLION 360 THOUSAND TL
During the search in the truck, the teams detected unsealed beef weighing 1 ton 700 kilograms with a market value of 1 million 360 thousand Turkish Liras.
ALL OF IT WAS SEIZED AND DESTROYED
The teams seized the meat that was transported without an invoice and in violation of hygiene rules, and after taking samples to determine which animal it belonged to, they destroyed the remaining part.
