In the Sarıkamış district of Kars, the anxiety of three neighbors who encountered a brown bear while descending to the site garden from their homes was recorded by nearby cameras. Citizens, taken by surprise, ran away in panic.
Three neighbors living in the site located in the İnönü neighborhood of Sarıkamış district in Kars encountered a brown bear running around in the garden in the evening hours.
IT SUDDENLY APPEARED IN FRONT OF THEM
The footage recorded by the security camera shows the brown bear suddenly appearing in front of the citizens, wandering around the site for a while, making noises, and then fleeing.
"IT CAME TOWARDS US SCREAMING"
Himmet Bozyel, who stated that bears are occasionally seen in the area but this is the first time they witnessed one getting so close to a residential area, said, "I was trying to get something from the car in the evening when I ran into my neighbor. He told me, 'The bear is coming,' and we started to run away. The bear came towards us screaming. When we ran and hid in the building, the bear wandered around for a while and then left."
