After the murder of 8-year-old Narin Güran, the defendants uncle Salim Güran, mother Yüksel Güran, brother Enes Güran, and Nevzat Bahtiyar, who is alleged to have carried the body, appeared before the judge. The court decided to continue the detention of the defendants and postponed the hearing to December 26.

Following the announcement of the interim decision, a new development came to light. A threatening message from uncle Salim Güran's son, Devran Güran, made on social media was revealed. In the post targeting Nevzat Bahtiyar, Devran Güran stated, "Isn't it cold for the scoundrels, didn't you think about the end of this job? Nevzo K....!"
