In Tokat, 21-year-old Süleyman Gülsün, who was bitten by a tick, died at the hospital where he was being treated for suspected Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever.

A young man being treated for suspected Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever (CCHF) in Sivas has lost his life.

ATTACHED A TICK 10 DAYS AGO

Süleyman Gülsün (21), living in the Evren village of Zile district in Tokat, had a tick attach to him about 10 days ago. When Gülsün fell ill after a while, he was first taken to a hospital in Tokat by his relatives.

DIED IN THE HOSPITAL WHERE HE WAS BEING TREATED

Later transferred to Sivas Cumhuriyet University Health Services Application and Research Hospital and admitted to the Anesthesia Intensive Care Unit under treatment for suspected CCHF, Gülsün could not be saved despite intervention. It was learned that Gülsün's body will be buried in the Evren village of Zile district in Tokat.
