''I DO NOT REGRET GOING TO TURKEY''
The 25-year-old footballer stated that he does not regret coming to Turkey, saying, "I really do not regret going to Turkey. I have developed my technical skills. I have improved my understanding of the game and my performance consistency. It was said that I was very good in duels before. I have improved a lot in this regard." he said.

Speaking about the transfer interest he received last season, Mendy noted that many teams, especially Galatasaray, wanted him, saying, "When I transferred to Trabzonspor, I set a goal for myself to stay in Trabzon for two years and then transfer to bigger leagues. I think the time has come now. Last summer, Crystal Palace, Torino, and Galatasaray, as well as clubs like Rennes during the winter transfer period, were interested in me, but they could not reach an agreement with Trabzonspor." he stated.
