A car that was trying to turn back and drive in reverse on the Ankara-Niğde Highway collided head-on with another vehicle. In the horrific accident, 4 people lost their lives and 1 person was injured.
Two cars collided head-on on the Ankara-Niğde Highway. Four people died in the accident, and one person was injured.
According to the information obtained, the accident occurred around 21:00 in the Bala area of the Ankara-Niğde Highway. A Mazda car with license plate 06 BIM 593, driven by K.T., began to drive in reverse on the highway. The car going in the opposite direction collided head-on with the car controlled by E.A.
TEAMS WERE DISPATCHED TO THE SCENE
Upon citizens' notification, health, gendarmerie, and fire teams were dispatched to the scene. Those trapped in the vehicle were rescued as a result of the fire teams' efforts. In the accident, the driver of the Mazda car, K.T., and the driver of the other car, E.A., along with passengers I.A. and Ç.A., lost their lives, while E.A. was injured.
AN INVESTIGATION HAS BEEN INITIATED
While the injured citizen was taken to the hospital, the bodies of the deceased were sent to the Forensic Medicine Institution. An investigation has been initiated regarding the accident.
