Bahar Aksu's aunt, Nesrin Arıkan, expressed that her niece had been threatened for years. Arıkan said, "She didn't tell anything for years, she didn't share anything because we opposed her marriage. We knew about the child. It was obvious from his behavior that he was a psychopath. We opposed it, but we couldn't save the girl from him. WHAT HAPPENED?

In the Cumhuriyet neighborhood on Kazım Orbay Street, Bahar Aksu was forcibly abducted by her ex-husband Rüstem Elibol and his friend S.S. while she was on her way to work, and Rüstem Elibol severely injured his ex-wife with a gun for resisting getting into the car.

While the suspect Rüstem Elibol fled the scene on foot, the medical teams who arrived at the scene upon notification determined that Aksu had lost her life.

Along with S.S., who was driving the vehicle, S.Y. (33) and A.B. (44) were detained by police teams in Silivri.

Police teams, deepening their investigations, found that Bahar Aksu and suspect Rüstem Elibol got married in 2019 and divorced in 2022, that they had no joint children, and that there were two separate reports of "threat" and "intentional injury" against the suspect in 2020, and that there was no ongoing restraining order between them.

The suspect Rüstem Elibol was also caught in traffic while fleeing in a vehicle by police teams.
