RELATIVES NOTIFIED THE GENDARMERIE WHEN THEY COULDN'T REACH HER
The incident occurred in Yenigün Village, affiliated with the Kadirli district. According to the information obtained, relatives who had not heard from Cezire Avlukyarı, who had gone to the rural area to collect sumac, notified the authorities. Upon the report, search efforts were initiated in the area by gendarmerie teams and villagers.
INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED INTO THE INCIDENT
As a result of the searches, Avlukyarı was found dead on rugged terrain. AFAD and Kadirli Municipality fire brigade teams were dispatched to the area. While Avlukyarı's relatives, who arrived at the scene, suffered nervous breakdowns, teams tried to calm the family. After the examination at the scene, the elderly woman's body was transported by tractor due to the rugged terrain conditions and handed over to the hearse.
An investigation has been launched into the incident.
