In a collision between two trams in the city of Krakow, Poland, 35 people were injured, including 2 seriously. While the treatment of 24 passengers was carried out at the scene, 10 passengers were taken to nearby hospitals.
A tram accident occurred in the evening hours in the city of Krakow, located in southern Poland.
35 INJURED, 2 SERIOUSLY
In the accident that took place on Bienczycka street, the number 5 tram collided with the number 52 tram, which was waiting at the intersection. After the accident, a large number of ambulances and fire crews were dispatched to the scene. A total of 35 people were injured, including 2 seriously.
THEY WERE TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL FOR TREATMENT
Authorities reported that the driver of the number 5 tram was trapped in the cabin and was rescued after long efforts and taken to the hospital. While the treatment of 24 passengers was carried out at the scene, 10 passengers were taken to nearby hospitals.
Authorities are continuing their investigations at the scene regarding the accident.
