Truck accident in Malatya: 2 people lost their lives.

Two people lost their lives and one person was injured when a truck overturned off the road at the tunnel exit in the Doğanşehir district of Malatya.

The accident occurred at the Erkenek Tunnel exit on the Malatya-Adıyaman highway at midnight. According to the information obtained, the truck with license plate 02 HP 280, driven by Abdullah Dağbaşı, lost control and tipped over after the driver lost his steering control while heading towards Adıyaman.

INJURED PERSONS TRAPPED IN THE VEHICLE WERE RESCUED WITH DIFFICULTY

In the accident, driver Abdullah Dağbaşı and his companion Yusuf Donat lost their lives at the scene, while Halil Toprak was injured. Upon notification, gendarmerie, medical, and fire teams were dispatched to the area. The injured persons trapped in the vehicle were rescued by the teams and taken to the hospital. The bodies of the two deceased individuals were taken to the morgue. An investigation has been initiated regarding the accident.
