US President Donald Trump, speaking at the White House ahead of the NATO Summit in Ankara, argued that they are very close to ending the Russia-Ukraine war. Trump stated that he would discuss this issue in depth with allies in Ankara, emphasizing that both Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky now want an agreement. Trump said, "We are going to NATO, we will discuss the matter, and I think we will succeed."

US President Donald Trump answered questions from the press at the White House about the Russia-Ukraine war and Iran negotiations.

"WE WILL GO TO NATO, DISCUSS THE ISSUE, AND I THINK WE WILL ACHIEVE IT"

When asked about the course of the war between Russia and Ukraine, Trump responded, "We will go to NATO, discuss the issue, and I think we will achieve it."

Trump said, "I think we are very close to ending the war in Ukraine. Both Russian and Ukrainian leaders want to make a deal," expressing his hope to stop the war between the two countries.

The US President emphasized that both Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy want this war to end now.

Referring to the armed unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) technology prominent in the Russia-Ukraine war, Trump stated, "Who would have thought drones would become such a big factor? They are killing machines. It's incredible. You hide behind a tree, and it comes and finds you. And I have seen scenes I did not want to see, and I don't want you to see them either."

"IRAN WILL EITHER SIGN A DEAL OR WE WILL FINISH THE JOB"

US President Trump drew attention to the ongoing peace talks with Iran, saying the talks were "going well" but the media was not giving it the attention it "deserved."

Speaking about the power of the American military, Trump claimed they used this force against Iran for "very justified reasons," adding, "Because Iran can never have a nuclear weapon. That can never be allowed."

Trump noted that they had "obtained concessions" from Tehran regarding Iran's nuclear enrichment activities and would take delivery of the enriched material in their possession.

Assessing, "One way or another, we will win. We will either make a deal or finish the job," Trump stated he preferred a deal with Iran and did not want the 91 million people of Iran to be affected by war.

While listing the issues with Iran regarding the right to use the Strait of Hormuz, Trump said, "The Strait of Hormuz is a huge money machine. No one had heard of its fame before."
