ZACHARIA WILL REPLACE LEAVITT
In a post on his social media account, US President Trump announced that Zacharia would be appointed to the press secretary role. Trump said, "It is a great honor for me to appoint Katie Zacharia as White House Press Secretary."
Trump, noting that Katie currently manages Trump's Truth Social account and serves as a senior communications adviser at the company "Trump Media&Technology Group," stressed that he believes the new press secretary will be very successful.

Trump, who included the statement "Katie will replace Karoline Leavitt, who has done a magnificent job as White House Press Secretary," noted that he is sure Katie will earn the respect of the American people.
