In an interview with CNN, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that Cuba will fall very soon and that they are eager to make a deal. Trump announced that he would involve Secretary of State Marco Rubio in this matter.
U.S. President Donald Trump said that Cuba, which he has been increasing economic sanctions against for some time, will "fall very soon."
"CUBA WILL FALL VERY SOON"
In a phone interview with CNN, a news channel in the U.S., Trump made new statements regarding Cuba. Praising his achievements during his second term, Trump said, "Cuba will also fall very soon. They are eager to make a deal."
"CUBA FELL INTO MY ARMS"
In his remarks, where he stated that he would involve Secretary of State Marco Rubio in the negotiation process with Cubans, Trump conveyed that they are currently "focused" on this issue. Trump, who said, "I have been waiting for this moment for 50 years. and now Cuba has fallen into my arms," assessed that they are making "very good progress" on this matter.
The U.S. President had stated a day earlier in the White House that the return of American Cubans to their homes is "just a matter of time."
Claiming that the attacks on Iran have been "successful," Trump, after stating that the Tehran administration will "give up," said, "Cuba will also fall."
U.S. OIL BLOCKADE ON CUBA
On January 30, Trump signed a presidential decree that foresees the imposition of customs duties on all goods coming from countries that sell or supply oil to Cuba.
The White House argued that the decision aims to protect U.S. national security and foreign policy interests against Cuba's "harmful actions and policies."
On February 1, Trump announced that negotiations had begun regarding the regulation of oil supply with the Cuban administration, while Cuba denied this.
