The U.S. administration is preparing a broader new travel ban than during President Trump's first term. The draft list from the State Department includes 11 countries, including Afghanistan, Iran, and Cuba, which are completely banned. Citizens of countries on the orange list, such as Russia and Belarus, will only be able to enter the U.S. under special circumstances.

The Trump administration has begun evaluating a new travel ban that could affect 43 countries. This ban will be more comprehensive than the restrictions from Trump's first term that included Turkey.
Officials from the U.S. Department of State have prepared a "red list" that includes 11 countries where entries will be completely banned. In addition, orange and yellow lists have also been included in the proposal.
According to officials, citizens of Afghanistan, Bhutan, Cuba, Iran, Libya, North Korea, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Venezuela, and Yemen will be completely barred from entering the U.S. Any citizen from these countries on the red list will not be able to set foot in the U.S.
Additionally, a second "orange list" has been prepared, which includes ten countries, including Russia, Belarus, Pakistan, and Myanmar. Citizens of the countries on this list will only be able to enter the U.S. under special conditions.
Countries on the yellow list, such as Chad, the Republic of the Congo, Liberia, and Mali, may be allowed into the U.S. if they provide satisfactory responses to the necessary "security concerns." However, it is still unclear what assurances are expected from the citizens of these countries.
