CRITICAL MEETING IN BEIJING Dar met with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi to discuss the war in Iran, regional tensions, and the relations between the two countries. The meeting emphasized that both sides share similar positions on international and regional issues.
CALL FROM CHINA TO THE US AND ISRAEL The Chinese Foreign Ministry stated in a statement after the meeting that they were deeply saddened by the destruction caused by the war. While highlighting the damage to historical sites, they called on the parties, especially the US and Israel, to immediately cease military operations.

“TENSION MUST BE REDUCED IN HORMUZ” China also addressed the developments in the Strait of Hormuz, emphasizing the need to reduce tensions in the region and ensure maritime security. The Beijing administration thanked the relevant countries for the support provided to three Chinese ships that recently passed through the strait.

US-ISRAEL'S ATTACKS ON IRAN While negotiations continued between the Tehran and Washington administrations, Israel and the US launched a military attack on Iran on February 28. Iran responded with attacks on targets it identified in several regional countries, including Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Bahrain, where US bases are located, in addition to Israel.
