Another earthquake has been added to the ones occurring in different parts of Turkey. Following the tremors in Adıyaman and Kayseri, an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.2 occurred off the coast of Yalova in the Marmara Sea at 14:24. AFAD announced that the earthquake was recorded at a depth of 13.53 kilometers.
A new one was added today to the successive tremors experienced in different regions of Turkey. Immediately after the earthquakes that occurred in Adıyaman and Kayseri, a mild tremor was also recorded in the Marmara Sea during the noon hours.
FRIGHTENING TREMBOR OFF THE COAST OF YALOVA
The epicenter of the earthquake, which caused brief unease among citizens living in the Marmara Region, was determined to be off the coast of Yalova in the Marmara Sea. According to the official seismic data shared with the public by the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD), the tremor, which occurred around 14:24, was measured at a magnitude of 3.2. This tectonic activity, which took place at a relatively shallow depth of 13.53 kilometers underground, was felt especially in the coastal areas of Yalova and surrounding settlements.
