Due to the global economic crisis, a significant number of companies in Turkey have recently declared bankruptcy, with the latest addition being Konya Giba Gıda. The 45-year-old food giant of Turkey has officially gone bankrupt after its concordat application was rejected.

Founded in 1980 in Konya and known for its Mevlana sweets, Konya Giba Food's concordat application was rejected by the court.

PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES LIFTED

With the decision made after the completion of the temporary period, it was reported that all precautionary measures, as well as the previously taken temporary and definitive period decisions for the company, were lifted.

INSOLVENCY PROCESS OFFICIALLY STARTED

Following the court's decision, it was noted that the temporary concordat commissioner’s duty had ended. Additionally, it was announced that an insolvency table was established under the file numbered 2025/12 at the Konya 1st Enforcement Directorate, indicating that the insolvency process for the company had officially begun.
