The General Manager of Tarım Kredi KOOP Market, Şevket Varol Halepli, announced that the Turkish Agricultural Credit Cooperatives Markets will continue to operate under the "KOOP Market" brand. It was also stated that the number of stores will increase.
The Turkey Agricultural Credit Cooperatives, operating under the umbrella of Turkey Agricultural Credit Cooperatives Markets, introduced its new brand identity, communication vision, and campaign at a press conference for its new name, "KOOP Market." The meeting was attended by Yılmaz Bademli, a member of the Management and Executive Board of Agricultural Credit Holding, as well as Şevket Varol Halepli, the General Manager of Agricultural Credit KOOP Market, along with managers from the Agricultural Credit Group and invited guests.
In his speech at the meeting, Şevket Varol Halepli stated, "The Turkey Agricultural Credit Cooperatives Markets, which operate under the umbrella of Turkey Agricultural Credit Cooperatives, will continue to serve under its new name, KOOP Market, from today." Halepli mentioned that the brand was renewed about 6 months ago, saying, "We are changing the old Agricultural Credit Cooperatives Markets logo in the new stores we have opened or renovated gradually. We will only make this change in our new and renovated stores. We will not change the signs of our old stores in any way." he said.
"WE ARE NOT A MARKET, WE ARE THE LAST LINK OF AN ECOSYSTEM"
Halepli emphasized that KOOP Market, with its new name, face, and communication approach, is a structure that delivers products directly from producers to consumers without intermediaries, stating: "We are not a market. We are the last link of an ecosystem operating under the umbrella of Agricultural Credit Cooperatives in Turkey. There is a process that starts with our farmers. We process the products, natural products, and safe products produced by our farmers directly in our factories and present them safely to our consumers in KOOP Markets, the last link. We serve consumers with 2,356 KOOP Markets. Currently, we have a total of 4,500 sales points in Turkey, including special sections within the grocery stores we call grocery concepts, which are part of Agricultural Credit Cooperatives."
Halepli stated that their goal is to continue to grow in 2026 and also announced that the new advertisement film of KOOP Market will be broadcast starting tomorrow.
"THERE IS A MODEL THAT STARTS FROM THE SEED IN THE FIELD AND EXTENDS TO THE CONSUMER'S FORK"
After the meeting, Yılmaz Bademli, a member of the Management and Executive Board of Agricultural Credit Holding, evaluated the "End-to-End Model," stating that it is a model that Agricultural Credit has been implementing in the country for years, saying, "It starts from the seed in the field and extends to the consumer's fork."
Reminding that they provide support for diesel, fertilizer, and seed while farmers plant their products, Bademli continued: "We provide support during the harvest. We buy the products produced by Turkish farmers and process them in our licensed warehouses and then in our own facilities, and in other facilities, to bring them together with consumers. It is a fully developed model from raw material to the product on the shelf; for this reason, we call it end-to-end, as we are present at every stage: planting, harvesting, storage, production, branding, retail, and sales."
Bademli mentioned that 2025 is an investment year for them, stating that consumer expectations have changed. He pointed out that in order to meet these expectations, it is necessary to say something new transparently, explaining that they have made a brand change to support consumers and open new horizons for them. Bademli said, "Our goal for 2026 is to continue our lives with approximately 150 additional stores with our new concept. We will close this year with 4,500 stores." He also mentioned that they have growth targets in Istanbul and other major cities in Anatolia.
"AFTER REACHING 4,500 STORES, THE EXPECTATIONS OF CITIZENS HAVE CHANGED"
Bademli stated that the filling stations are part of the Zero Waste Campaign, using the following expressions: "It is a project designed for citizens to bring their plastic or glass products from home and fill the desired product in milk or oil to take home, aiming not to harm nature. Currently, we have 4 stores across Turkey. As part of the Zero Waste Project, we will be in a total of 10 stores next year, in Ankara, Istanbul, and Izmir. Consumer interest is quite good; citizens care about this. They value it because it is offered to them at a more affordable price without reflecting packaging costs on the product, both to avoid polluting nature and to provide this product. We are receiving requests asking, 'Why is it not in our neighborhood? Why is it not in our province?'
Bademli stated that Agricultural Credit has grown very rapidly, reaching 4,500 stores in a short time, saying, "After reaching 4,500 stores, the expectations of citizens have changed. Target audiences are changing. Young people want to shop differently. We made a name change, and with this name change, new concepts will appeal to everyone, and we continue our efforts to provide the most transparent, reliable, and highest quality products to our people at the most affordable prices." he said.
