Benchmark index falls 14.79 points from previous close.
Türkiye's benchmark stock index ended Wednesday at 10,158.63 points, down 0.15% from the previous close.
Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 lost 14.79 points from Tuesday's close of 10,173.42 points with a daily trading volume of 104 billion liras ($3.22 billion).
The total market value of the BIST 100 was around 8.7 trillion liras ($270.7 billion) by market close, with a daily trading volume of 40 billion liras ($1.24 billion).
The price of an ounce of gold was $2,379.40 while Brent crude oil sold for around $81.99 per barrel as of 6.04 p.m. local time (1504GMT).
The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 32.2188, the euro/lira exchange rate stood at 35.0183, while the British pound traded at 40.7595 liras. -
