In the Sarız district of Kayseri, 72-year-old Mustafa Ö. lost his life after being attacked by dogs. Following an investigation, it was determined that the dogs that attacked the elderly man were shepherd dogs. Two individuals have been taken into custody in relation to the incident.
In the Sarız district of Kayseri, dogs that caused the death of a 72-year-old man they attacked were owned, while 2 people were detained in connection with the incident.
According to the information obtained, in the village of Gümüşali, which is part of the Sarız district, it was claimed that other dogs attacked Mustafa Ö.'s (72) dogs. While trying to fend off the dogs attacking his own, Mustafa Ö. was attacked in an empty field. While the neighborhood residents struggled to drive the dogs away with tractors, gendarmerie and medical teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification. It was determined by the medical teams that the elderly man had lost his life. After the examination, the lifeless body of the elderly man was taken to the morgue of Sarız State Hospital.
2 PEOPLE DETAINED
In the investigation conducted by the gendarmerie teams after the incident, it was determined that the dogs that attacked the elderly man were shepherd dogs. While 2 people, who were stated to be the owners of the dogs, were detained, it was learned that the individuals were released under supervision.
