The heavier snowfall in the high areas of Istanbul covered the roofs in Kartal Aydos Forest with white. It was observed that the trees were also covered with a white blanket. Some citizens took the opportunity of the snowfall to take a break and play snowball fights. Intermittent snowfall is expected to continue throughout the day.

Lagün Tozkoparan, who took a break to play snowballs on the way to school, said, "I was expecting more snow. I thought there would be a holiday. It is said that it will snow again next week. I hope it sticks then. We were going to school. We took a break. We had a lot of fun."
