4-MATCH SUSPENSION FOR HIDING THE LGBT SYMBOL
According to a statement from the Disciplinary Board of the French Professional Football League (LFP), Nemanja Matic and Ahmed Hassan were both given a 4-match suspension, with two of those matches postponed, for hiding the symbol on the sleeves of their jerseys during the matches played in the last week of the season on May 17.
Last year, Malian player Muhammed Camara, who played for Monaco, was also given a 4-match suspension for the same reason.
The Egyptian forward Mustafa Muhammed, who plays for Nantes, was sidelined and fined in previous years for refusing to wear a jersey with LGBT propaganda.
