Two friends in the Güdül district of Ankara reported seeing mysterious lights moving in yellow in the sky and thought they were a UFO. The witnesses, who stated that they recorded their observations with a mobile phone, mentioned that they had previously seen unidentified objects as well.
Okan Kılıç and his friend Orhan Öztürk, residents of Adalıkuzu Village in the Güdül district of Ankara, claimed that on the evening of November 8, 2025, they saw lights moving in a yellow color and in an orderly manner in the sky. Kılıç argued that the object in the footage he recorded with his mobile phone camera was neither a satellite nor a drone.
"I THINK THIS OBJECT I SAW IS A UFO"
Okan Kılıç, who stated that they had seen unidentified objects in the area they were observing before, said, "On November 8, 2025, my friend Orhan and I came here for the weekend as we always do, to drink tea and do some night observation. Again, around 9:00 PM that same day, we saw yellow lights coming from the top of the mountain across from us. We followed the lights for a while. When I looked through the binoculars, I saw that the lights were coming out from a horizontal plane and moving to the right. At that moment, I switched to my mobile phone camera and handed the binoculars to Orhan. I captured the image; it was very large. It had about 8-9 lights on it. I estimate its diameter to be around 100 meters. This object I saw was not Starlink, a satellite, or any UAV, or armed UAV. Because we have seen smaller ones while observing regularly in the evenings. I think this object I saw is a UFO," he said.
"THE OBJECT I SAW WAS NOT A DRONE, PLANE, OR STARLINK"
Orhan Öztürk, who suggested that the unidentified flying object they saw was neither a drone nor a plane, said, "Around 9:00 PM, we were sitting by the fire and drinking tea. Later, while looking at the sky, we saw flying objects. Small flying objects were moving up and down, which caught our attention. Okan said, 'I will film these.' He first looked through the binoculars, then started filming with his mobile phone. While filming, we saw a larger object. We got excited when we filmed that large object. The other small objects were also moving towards it, turning off their lights. For about 2 hours, the small objects were moving up and down. This caught our attention; we saw something like this for the first time. The object I saw was not a drone, a plane, or Starlink; it was probably a UFO. There are flying objects here; if anyone is curious, they should come and observe. We see these objects here from time to time," he said.
"I CAN SAY THIS OBJECT IS NOT A UFO, BUT A MOTHER SHIP"
Social media content creator Coşkun Deniz, who claimed that the unidentified flying object moved contrary to the laws of physics, said, "I have been researching in the field of Ufology for 25 years. However, I have never encountered such a clear image until today. When we pay attention to the movements of the object, it is impossible for a mass of that size to move that fast. The object exhibits movements that are contrary to the laws of physics. Due to the effect of the full moon right behind the person filming, the reflections on the surface of the object reveal all the details of the object, indicating that it possesses a technology far more advanced than the technologies we know. This object is far beyond the disk-shaped UFOs we have seen so far. Because the average diameter of UFOs known in the UFO literature is around 15 meters. Based on the information from the eyewitnesses and the person filming, for a mobile phone to fill that part of the screen when zoomed in to the maximum, the object must have a diameter of over 50 meters. If the object is over 15-20 meters in diameter, I can say that this object is not a UFO, but a mother ship," he said.
