Two people lost their lives in a vehicle swept away by the flood caused by heavy rainfall in the Kadirli district of Osmaniye. Support teams from neighboring provinces were also dispatched to the area.

VEHICLE SWEPT AWAY BY FLOODWATERS
According to the information obtained, after the heavy rainfall that intensified in the evening hours, the Savrun Stream and Bülbül Creek overflowed, negatively affecting life in the district. After losing contact with a vehicle swept away during the flood, teams initiated a search and rescue operation in the area.
TWO PEOPLE LOST THEIR LIVES
As a result of the efforts, teams reached the vehicle and determined that 2 citizens inside the vehicle had lost their lives. Kadirli Mayor Mert Olcar stated, "We reached the vehicle swept away by the flood. We regret to inform that 2 of our citizens inside the vehicle have lost their lives."
Meanwhile, a large number of search and rescue and support teams from neighboring provinces were dispatched to the area affected by the floods. It was reported that efforts were ongoing without interruption, along with municipal and relevant institution teams, for the evacuation of stranded citizens and water drainage operations.
